Association of Banks in Singapore

The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) is a non-profit organisation that represents the interests of the commercial and investment banking community. As at 31 January 2021, our membership comprised 154 local and foreign banks/institutions and representative offices operating in Singapore Our roles include: Representing the Commercial and Investment Banking Industry: We voice the interests of our members in Singapore through strategic engagement with our stakeholders – banks, regulators and customers. Upholding the Integrity of Members: We work with members to develop and implement industry code of conduct and guidelines that are in line with international best practices. Building Relationships within the Industry: We build consensus among members with differing opinions and coordinate as well as gather support for projects of mutual benefit. Collaborating with Regional and International Organisations: We partner with these organisations to strengthen members' interests.
