Singapore Maritime Foundation

The Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) was established on 27 January 2004 to be a conduit between the public and private sectors. We work with stakeholders across the entire maritime ecosystem to strengthen Singapore as an International Maritime Centre (IMC) and to develop a maritime-ready talent pool. SMF is driven by the twin mission to strengthen and promote Singapore as an International Maritime Centre (IMC) and to develop a talent pool that will support the industry’s growth. Undergirding SMF’s initiatives are the strategic pillars of Connectivity, Innovation and Talent. These pillars are aligned with the objectives outlined in the International Maritime Centre (IMC) 2030 Report.
