The Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) drives Singapore’s digital development in four key domains — the economy, government, security, and society.

MDDI oversees the development of the infocomm technology, cybersecurity, and media sectors; the Government’s digitalisation initiatives; and the national library, national archives, and public libraries.

The Ministry is also responsible for effective public communications, and the Government’s information and public communication policies.

Description

The Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) offers scholarships to candidates with a passion for government communications work. Upon graduation, scholars can look forward to a rewarding and challenging career that spans a broad gamut of portfolios and responsibilities, as well as a comprehensive development plan comprising formal professional and leadership training, and secondments and attachments to other ministries and external agencies.

All Courses except Dentistry, Medicine

4 years (local), 5 years (for non-English speaking countries), 6 years (for English-speaking countries)

Requirement/Conditions

Have completed at least one semester of their undergraduate studies and are not in their final year of studies
Possess good university academic results and are expected to attain at least a Honours (Distinction) Degree or equivalent
