Pioneering workers' rights since 1961, the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) unites 58 trade unions, seven trade associations, 12 social enterprises, and other enterprise partners as we create better lives for workers here in Singapore.

Our work cuts across the different ages and stages of life as we walk the ground and respond to everyday needs. Description

For over 60 years, NTUC has forged a strong bond with the workers of Singapore. Through our affiliated unions and associations, we exist to improve the wages, welfare and work prospects of all collars, ages and nationalities.

As an NTUC Scholar, you will play a pivotal role in championing and creating a better tomorrow for workers through internship opportunities during the three- or five-year bond as an Industrial Relations Officer (IRO).

Full coverage of tuition, course application, hostel and book expenses
One-off reimbursement and allowance for settling-in and computer-related expenses
Annual living allowance
Allowances for overseas exchange programme and return airfare
Yearly return airfare (for overseas scholars)
Full coverage of medical and/or health insurance (where required by the university)
Internship opportunities across NTUC and mentorships provided by Labour MPs
Extension of scholarship for Master’s degree (if requirements are met)

Requirement/Conditions

Excellent 'A' Level / IB / NUS High / Polytechnic Diploma / undergraduate results
Excellent CCA and/or community service
Proven Leadership
Undergraduates who have completed at least one semester of studies and not in their final year may be considered for mid-term scholarship
