NCSS' mission is to provide leadership and direction in enhancing the capabilities and capacity of our members, advocating for social service needs and strengthening strategic partnerships, for an effective social service ecosystem.

Community Chest is the fundraising and engagement arm of NCSS and Social Service Institute is the human capital development arm of NCSS.

Description

Are you an outstanding individual with a passion for helping people and the leadership qualities to drive social change? Then you’re just the right person for the Social Service Scholarship.

As a Social Service Scholar, you’ll be given opportunities to participate in training and developmental programmes and engage regularly with sector leaders. Such initiatives will enable you to hone your professional and leadership skills, leaving you fully equipped to make a great impact as a leader in the social service sector.

Strong passion for helping those in need
Possess leadership qualities with good character and conduct
Excellent academic results with good co-curricular activities records
Currently not receiving any scholarships or sponsorships

In addition to fulfilling the full-term scholarship eligibility
criteria, you should also meet the following requirements:

Have completed at least one academic semester of studies
Have at least one academic year remaining at point of application
Possess good university results to date
