Description

The Economist Service (ES) Scholarship was launched in 2011 by MTI to attract talented students to become public sector economists. You may apply for the ES scholarship if you are applying for undergraduate studies in Economics in local and overseas. As an ES scholar, you may also be sponsored for a Master's degree immediately upon graduation.

Apply through the Public Service Commission (PSC) gateway portal. You should indicate “Economist Service” as your first choice of service.

Excellent 'A' Level (attempted at least 11 academic units), IB or NUS High School Diploma
Excellent CCA
Proven Leadership
Undergrads May Apply

Mid-Term scholarship applicants must also:
Have completed at least one semester of your undergraduate studies and not in your final year of studies
Possess good university academic results and is expected to attain a Second-Class Upper Honours degree.
Have a keen interest in the application of Economics to the analysis of public policies
