NTU Class of 1985 Scholarship The Scholarship was established in conjunction with NTU Class of 1985 20th Anniversary Celebration in 2005, through a series of fundraising activities. Tan Sri Dr Runme Shaw Scholarship Tan Sri Dr Runme was a famous philanthropist. In 1957, he instituted the Shaw Foundation, which is a fund for charitable purposes in Singapore. Since its inception, the foundation has donated over US$150 million to various associations, schools, and institutions.
Tan Sri Dr Tan Chin Tuan Scholarship Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan, well-known for building the OCBC Group into a financial powerhouse in the 1950s to 1980s, was once described by the National Geographic magazine as the "emperor of finance". The Tan Chin Tan Foundation (TCTF) in Singapore was set up in 1976.
