The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) consists of MHA Headquarters, 7 Home Team departments and 3 statutory boards, and is known collectively as the Home Team.
We work as One Home Team, in close partnership with the community, to keep Singapore safe and secure.
Each Home Team Department has its specific roles and responsibilities, working towards a common mission and vision.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force Paramedic Scholarship (SCDF Paramedic Scholarship) provides scholarship recipients with a meaningful and rewarding career in the SCDF. The recipients will read Para-medicine or related disciplines in Emergency Health or Clinical Practice in top universities.
Scholarship recipients will acquire advanced medical competencies, policy conceptualisation skills, and command abilities through various postings to prepare them for key leadership positions.

• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents intending to take up Singapore Citizenship• Strong leadership qualities and potential• Possess strong interest in safeguarding the safety and security of Singapore• Good academic and Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) records• GCE A-Levels, IB, Poly, NUS High School, or other high school diploma/certificate; current undergraduate students (not in final year of studies) may also apply. You may apply prior to receiving your final examination results. Should you be found suitable for a scholarship, you may be made a provisional scholarship offer that is subject to confirmation upon the release of your results.• Perform well in National Service (for male applicants)• Excel in Officer Cadet Course in MINDEF or MHA (for candidates aspiring for the Singapore Merit Scholarship Tier)
For Mid-Term Scholarships, the following criteria would additionally apply:• Currently pursuing full-time undergraduate studies and on track for graduation with at least 2nd Upper Honours or equivalent• Have completed at least one semester and not in the final year of undergraduate studies at point of application
The SCDF Paramedic Scholarship is open to male and female applicants.
Paramedicine or related disciplines in Emergency Health or Clinical Practice.
